Problem-solving

I've been working hard lately on a more systematic approach to solving problems. Like recently, the wife and I were having extreme marital problems, so we sat down to talk about it and I brought out a white board and said "Lets start out by drawing the skeleton of a fish and we'll figure out what your personality problems and emotional defects are by using its bones." She immediately started packing.
