Namesmanship

You know, over the years, I couldn't help but notice that a couple I knew from college named their firstborn son Dick. No problem, you don't want to be weird about things. But then, a couple years later, they named their second son Peter. Ok, now I feel like my immaturity is starting to rise from the depths of depravity. I felt guilty about my shallow gut instincts about this.

Then, about 5 years later they had another son. They named the youngest one Pecker. I usually try to stay in my lane, but that's over the damned line if you ask me. I stopped sending them Christmas cards.

In fact, I heard that Pecker had a helluva rough time with the other kids in school. Too bad, he was a good kid too.
