Don't Ignore Me

They say that being ignored triggers a chemical reaction in the brain similar to the experience of being physically attacked. I always knew there was a good reason that I batter and viciously attack people who don't respond to things I say, especially some of my sweet philosophy. I prefer a compound sentence response, indicating Solomonic wisdom in my words, so sometimes I'll have my fist clenched and at the ready if the response is too basic or brief.

Chafe, the town drunk, always says hello to people in the streets, but he's known to knock them unconscious if they don't say hello back. I think it teaches people to respond to friendly greetings properly.
